Velvet Scarves
Velvet Scarves is a small business made by me and my friend in 2018. Velvet Scarves is a brand that sells textured hijab in various colors. I'm responsible for building this brand from branding, marketing, and products photography.
Starting with the design of the logo, to emphasize the nuances of Islam, I chose Kufi calligraphy for the concept for the logo. The combination of the letter "Velvet" in Arabic letters is designed in such a way using the Kufi concept. Because this kufi design forms a "blocky" logo, I give the background "velvet material" as its base. I chose the Red Color to give a bold impression, in this case it represent elegance from the velvet material and braveness from the colour of red.
